The premises enjoys provision for full regulated entertainment with the exception of Boxing, Wrestling or the provision of late night refreshment and is licensed for the sale, by retail, of alcohol. However to remain good neighbours and comply with the other legislative requirements we require hall hirers to formally agree to our conditions of hire.

The diagram adjacent shows the boundary of the licensed area - hall users must ensure that any licensed activities do not go onto the play fields or other areas beyond this boundary..

Policies and conditions of use can be downloaded here, and should be read in full. Some key points to notice are:

  • Hirers are responsible for ensuring that their event complies with the relevant Health and Safety regulations and should complete a risk assessment (see here for examples)
  • All events must finish by 12:00 pm (Midnight)
  • Maximum capacity for the building is 200 people
  • Alcohol supply and consumption must cease by 11:30 pm  (11:00pm if being consumed outside the hall)
  • If drinks are taken outside the hall then only plastic glasses may be used for all drinks supplied.
  •  Please leave the hall as you found it. The Hirer is responsible for cleaning, disposing of rubbish and returning chairs/tables etc. to their normal storage positions
